TERMS AT A GLANCE

Clear Rules Before You Buy.

Virtualfolio sells editable digital products and, in the future, custom portfolio services (coming soon). These Terms explain what you receive, how you may use it, what each party is responsible for, and what happens when a purchase or project does not go as expected.

01

DIGITAL PRODUCTS ARE LICENSED FOR PERMITTED USE

Buying a template gives you the right to use and customize it under the applicable Virtualfolio license. It does not transfer ownership of the original Virtualfolio template or source design.

02

CANVA IS A THIRD-PARTY PLATFORM

Virtualfolio creates products for use with Canva, but Virtualfolio is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Canva. Canva’s own terms and licenses also apply.

03

CUSTOM WORK FOLLOWS AN APPROVED SCOPE - (coming soon)

Custom portfolio services are based on the purchased package, approved project brief, included revisions, client-supplied materials, and agreed project boundaries.

04

STATUTORY CONSUMER RIGHTS REMAIN

Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove a consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be waived.

This summary is provided for convenience. The complete Terms & Conditions below apply.

01 / AGREEMENT

Agreement to These Terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of virtualfolio.shop and, where applicable, to purchases made from Virtualfolio Online Shop.

By completing a purchase, you enter into a transaction with Virtualfolio for the product or service described at checkout and agree to the Terms that apply to that transaction, together with any product description, license terms, Refund & Cancellation Policy, Privacy Policy, and other terms clearly presented before purchase.

Browsing the website by itself does not mean that you have purchased a product or custom service.

PLEASE REVIEW BEFORE CHECKOUT

Before completing a purchase, review the product or service description, price, Canva requirements, delivery method, license terms, refund and cancellation rules, and any package-specific inclusions or exclusions.

If a specific product page or approved custom project agreement contains terms that are more specific than these general Terms, those specific terms apply to that product or project to the extent they do not conflict with rights that cannot legally be waived.

02 / THE SELLER

Who You Are Buying From

Virtualfolio Online Shop (“Virtualfolio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a Philippine-registered online business operating virtualfolio.shop.

Virtualfolio is preparing custom portfolio design services separately. Those services will only be made publicly available for purchase once the applicable business registration and tax activity updates required for the service offering have been completed.

Merchant responsibility

Virtualfolio is the merchant responsible for the products and services sold through virtualfolio.shop, including product descriptions, delivery, customer support, refund or cancellation decisions, and resolution of purchase-related concerns.

Maya Business Payment Solutions processes online payments but does not replace Virtualfolio as the seller responsible for the underlying transaction.

Website prices are stated in Philippine Peso (PHP) unless a product or checkout page clearly states otherwise.

03 / WHAT WE SELL

Virtualfolio Products & Services

Virtualfolio may offer digital Canva templates, downloadable support materials, template bundles, and—once appropriately registered and activated—custom portfolio design services.

Digital products

Digital products are intangible products delivered electronically. Depending on the item purchased, delivery may include a PDF, downloadable file, instructions, Canva template access link, or another digital resource identified on the product page.

No physical product is shipped unless a product page expressly says otherwise.

Product descriptions

We aim to describe each product accurately, including its intended use, key features, price, Canva requirements, included files or access method, and relevant limitations.

Preview images are intended to demonstrate the design, layout, or possible use of the product. Unless expressly included in the product description, example names, business information, photographs, portfolio copy, testimonials, mockups, or other demonstration content shown in previews may not form part of the purchased deliverable.

Where a product is marked “Works with Canva Free,” Virtualfolio intends the purchased template to be customizable using a free Canva account without an undisclosed requirement to purchase Canva Pro for the core advertised template use.

If a product requires Canva Pro or another paid Canva feature, that requirement should be disclosed on the product page before checkout.

THE DELIVERED PRODUCT SHOULD MATCH ITS DESCRIPTION

Nothing in these Terms permits Virtualfolio to substitute a materially different product for what was advertised or purchased.

Applicable consumer remedies remain available where a digital product or service is defective, inaccessible, materially non-conforming, or otherwise fails to satisfy obligations imposed by applicable law.

04 / DELIVERY

How Digital Products Are Delivered

Digital products are delivered electronically after successful payment confirmation.

Depending on the product and checkout workflow, you may receive an order confirmation, downloadable file, PDF, Canva access link, delivery instructions, or another form of electronic access.

The customer is responsible for providing an accurate and accessible email address during checkout.

If your order does not arrive

First check your Spam, Promotions, Updates, or similar folders.

If your order or access link is still missing, contact support@virtualfolio.shop using the email address associated with the purchase and provide the relevant order details.

Access-link support

Eligible Virtualfolio digital-template purchases include 24 months of access-link support from the original purchase date if the Virtualfolio-issued Canva access link becomes broken or inaccessible.

This access support covers restoration or replacement of the Virtualfolio-issued product access when reasonably possible. It does not include unlimited customization, ongoing Canva training, indefinite storage of every historical file, or a guarantee that Canva will preserve every platform feature indefinitely.

The 24-month access-support period is a Virtualfolio support benefit and does not restrict a consumer remedy that may be required under applicable law.

Personal template support

Digital template purchases currently include 14 days of personal support for reasonable setup questions or minor product issues beginning from the original purchase date.

Support does not include redesigning the purchased template, writing the purchaser’s complete portfolio copy, performing unlimited customization, or providing ongoing Canva training unless separately purchased or expressly included.

05 / CANVA

Canva & Third-Party Platform Terms

Virtualfolio independently creates products intended for use with Canva.

Virtualfolio is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or officially associated with Canva.

Canva, its trademarks, platform, features, fonts, media, templates, licensed content, and other Canva-owned or third-party materials remain subject to Canva’s own terms, licenses, policies, and availability.

Canva account requirements

You are responsible for maintaining access to the Canva account you choose to use and for complying with Canva’s applicable terms when editing, publishing, sharing, exporting, or otherwise using a Virtualfolio product inside Canva.

Canva Free and Pro content

Virtualfolio may design products using original Virtualfolio elements together with content made available through Canva where permitted.

Canva’s licensing rules determine how Canva Free or Pro Content may be used, shared, exported, or incorporated into templates.

Where a Virtualfolio template contains Canva Pro Content that requires a Canva-specific distribution method, the product will be distributed in a manner intended to comply with Canva’s applicable template-licensing rules.

Changes to Canva

Canva is an independent third-party platform that Virtualfolio does not control.

Canva may change its interface, publishing tools, fonts, elements, pricing, account plans, licensing rules, links, or platform functionality over time.

Virtualfolio does not guarantee that every third-party Canva feature will remain available forever.

This does not excuse Virtualfolio from delivering the purchased product as described or from providing any remedy required where Virtualfolio itself fails to meet its obligations.

06 / LICENSE

How You May Use Virtualfolio Digital Products

Unless a product page states otherwise, purchasing a Virtualfolio digital template gives the purchaser a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to customize and use the purchased product for the purchaser’s own permitted business or professional use.

A license allows permitted use of the product. It does not transfer ownership of Virtualfolio’s original template, source design, layout system, product branding, or other protected original materials.

Permitted use

You may customize the purchased template for your own brand or business, including replacing text, services, work samples, photographs, brand colors, and other editable information.

You may publish or share the finished portfolio or other final output created for your own business, subject to these Terms and any applicable Canva or third-party licenses.

You may not

  • resell, redistribute, give away, sublicense, upload for public download, or commercially repackage the original Virtualfolio template or editable source product;
  • share, sell, or publicly distribute the original Virtualfolio-issued Canva template-access link;
  • claim ownership or authorship of the original Virtualfolio template design itself;
  • purchase one standard template license and distribute copies of the original editable template to multiple clients;
  • remove or bypass technological/access restrictions for the purpose of unauthorized distribution;
  • use Virtualfolio products in a way that infringes Canva, third-party, or other intellectual-property rights.

Your finished portfolio may be shown to clients, employers, prospects, or the public as your own business portfolio after you customize it with your own content.

That does not give you the right to sell the underlying Virtualfolio template itself.

Using a template for a client

A standard Virtualfolio template license is intended for the purchaser’s own business unless the applicable product page expressly includes client-use rights.

If a freelancer, agency, virtual assistant, designer, or other service provider wants to use a Virtualfolio template to create a deliverable for a separate client, an applicable license or separate purchase is required for each client unless Virtualfolio states otherwise.

A purchaser may not buy one standard license and redistribute the original editable template to multiple clients.

VIRTUALFOLIO LICENSE + CANVA LICENSE

Your use of a Virtualfolio product may involve two separate layers of rights:

Virtualfolio determines the permitted use of Virtualfolio’s original template and design.

Canva and other third parties determine the permitted use of their own platform, content, fonts, media, and licensed assets.

A Virtualfolio purchase does not override Canva’s or another rights holder’s license.

07 / CUSTOM SERVICES – (COMING SOON)

Custom Portfolio Design Services (Coming Soon)

Virtualfolio may offer custom portfolio design services once the applicable business registration and tax activity updates for those services have been completed and the services are activated for public sale.

A custom service is different from purchasing a ready-made digital template. Custom work reserves production time and is completed according to the purchased package, approved project brief, submitted materials, and agreed project scope.

StarterFolio

StarterFolio is a personalization service built from an existing Virtualfolio ready-made template selected by the client.

The original layout, design direction, fonts, colors, and core structure remain based on the selected template unless the package description expressly states otherwise.

StarterFolio includes content insertion, mobile review, an editable Canva deliverable, and one included content-revision round.

StarterFolio does not include a complete redesign, font or color-system changes, custom page or section creation, or full copywriting unless separately quoted.

The standard estimated production period is 7–10 days after the project has officially started, subject to complete client information, timely feedback, and circumstances reasonably outside Virtualfolio’s control.

ProFolio

ProFolio is a custom one-page Canva portfolio design service for an individual professional or business.

It includes a custom content flow, hierarchy, visual direction, light copy cleanup where appropriate, mobile review, an editable Canva deliverable, and two included revision rounds.

Work outside the approved one-page scope may require a separate quote.

MaxFolio

MaxFolio is a custom multi-page Canva portfolio or service-site design service for an individual professional or business.

It includes custom structure, visual direction, mobile review, an editable Canva deliverable, and two included revision rounds.

MaxFolio begins at the published starting price. The final scope, number of pages, complexity, additional sections, special functionality, copy requirements, and other additions are determined from the approved project requirements and may require a separate quote.

PACKAGE NAME ≠ UNLIMITED SCOPE

Purchasing a custom package does not create an unlimited design, copywriting, revision, or page-development obligation.

The deliverables are limited to the scope stated on the package page, checkout, approved project brief, and any written additions accepted by Virtualfolio and the client.

08 / PROJECT PROCESS – (coming soon)

Project Scope, Revisions & Timeline - (coming soon)

When a project officially starts

After purchase, the client receives the applicable project instructions and order form or project brief.

The stated project timeline does not begin immediately at payment if Virtualfolio is still waiting for information or materials needed to perform the work.

A project officially starts when the required brief and project assets are complete enough for Virtualfolio to begin the approved scope and Virtualfolio confirms that production has started.

What counts as a revision?

One revision round means one consolidated list of reasonable changes submitted after reviewing the current project version.

Clients are encouraged to review the complete version first and submit revision requests together rather than sending separate changes across multiple messages.

A revision is intended to refine work within the approved scope.

A request for a completely new concept, new design direction, additional page, major new section, substantial new copy, newly introduced service, or other work outside the approved project scope is not automatically treated as an included revision and may require a separate quote.

Included revision rounds

StarterFolio currently includes one content-revision round.

ProFolio currently includes two revision rounds.

MaxFolio currently includes two revision rounds.

If a package page published at the time of purchase clearly states a different revision allowance, the package-specific description applies.

Client delays

Project timelines depend on the client providing required information, files, approvals, and feedback within a reasonable period.

If required client information or feedback is delayed, the production timeline is paused and the original estimated completion date may no longer apply.

If a project remains inactive for 30 consecutive days because required client information, assets, approval, or feedback has not been provided, Virtualfolio may archive the project and reschedule remaining work according to current availability.

Archiving due to client inactivity does not automatically create a right to refund work already completed or production time already used.

09 / CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Information, Assets & Materials You Provide

The client is responsible for providing accurate, usable, and reasonably complete information needed for the approved project.

  • provide the requested project brief, business information, copy, links, images, logos, testimonials, work samples, and other agreed assets within a reasonable timeframe;
  • review drafts carefully and provide clear consolidated feedback;
  • confirm that submitted names, claims, qualifications, prices, testimonials, case studies, statistics, and business information are accurate and authorized for use;
  • obtain the necessary rights or permission to provide photographs, logos, testimonials, client work, third-party content, trademarks, or other materials that belong to someone else;
  • avoid submitting passwords, PINs, CVVs, OTPs, unnecessary government IDs, or other sensitive information that Virtualfolio did not request;
  • comply with Canva and other third-party platform terms when using the finished deliverable.

Virtualfolio may rely on information supplied by the client for the project and is not responsible for independently verifying every factual statement, testimonial, professional claim, client relationship, or ownership claim supplied by the client.

If Virtualfolio becomes aware that submitted material appears unlawful, infringing, deceptive, unsafe, or outside the agreed scope, we may request replacement material, decline to use it, or pause the affected work while the issue is clarified.

Copy and proofreading

Unless full copywriting is expressly included, the client remains responsible for the substance and final accuracy of the business information and copy published in the finished portfolio.

Virtualfolio may perform light copy cleanup where included, but the client should review names, contact information, links, service descriptions, prices, factual claims, spelling, and other final content before publication.

10 / PAYMENT & INVOICING

Payments, Maya & BIR Invoices

Prices and payment

Virtualfolio prices are stated in Philippine Peso (PHP) unless clearly stated otherwise.

Online payments are processed through Maya Business Payment Solutions using the payment methods made available through the applicable checkout.

Unless a written quote or product page expressly provides another payment arrangement, payment is due at checkout before digital delivery or before custom-service onboarding begins.

For MaxFolio or other work whose final requirements exceed the published starting scope, additional work may be quoted separately. Virtualfolio will not treat an undisclosed additional charge as automatically authorized simply because the original package was purchased.

Maya is the payment processor

Maya Business Payment Solutions processes the payment transaction, but Virtualfolio remains the merchant responsible for the underlying order, delivery, customer service, refund or cancellation decisions, and purchase-related dispute resolution.

Payment credentials

Virtualfolio does not intentionally collect or store your full card number, CVV, PIN, or one-time password through its ordinary website forms or customer-support channels.

Never send these credentials to Virtualfolio support.

BIR invoicing

Virtualfolio Online Shop is currently a BIR-registered Non-VAT Micro Taxpayer and uses registered Non-VAT Sales Invoices in accordance with applicable Philippine invoicing requirements.

The automated WooCommerce email sent after an online order is primarily an order, payment, and/or digital-delivery confirmation. It is not itself Virtualfolio’s registered Non-VAT Sales Invoice.

Virtualfolio issues registered invoices as required by applicable BIR rules.

If you need help with buyer details on an invoice or need us to locate a transaction, contact support@virtualfolio.shop with the relevant order information.

11 / REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS

Refunds, Cancellations & Purchase Problems

The complete rules are stated in Virtualfolio’s Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

The summary below is provided for convenience and should be read together with that policy.

Digital products

Because Virtualfolio digital products are delivered electronically and may be accessed immediately, change-of-mind refunds, returns, and exchanges are generally not available after access has been delivered.

This does not remove any repair, replacement, refund, or other remedy that may be required by applicable law where a product is defective, inaccessible, materially different from its description, incorrectly delivered, or otherwise fails to conform to applicable requirements.

Custom-service cancellations

BEFORE PROJECT START

100% REFUND

If a client cancels before Virtualfolio has officially started the project, the custom-service payment is eligible for a 100% refund.

AFTER PROJECT START, BEFORE FIRST DRAFT

50% REFUND

If production has started but the first substantive design draft or equivalent project work has not yet been delivered, 50% of the custom-service payment is eligible for refund.

The remaining 50% covers reserved production capacity and work already performed.

AFTER FIRST DRAFT

NO CHANGE-OF-MIND REFUND

Once the first substantive design draft or equivalent project work has been delivered, change-of-mind refunds are generally no longer available.

The included revision process and any applicable consumer remedies remain available.

WHAT COUNTS AS A FIRST DRAFT?

For StarterFolio, a first draft may be the first personalized version of the selected template.

For ProFolio, it means the first custom one-page design draft.

For MaxFolio, it may be the first substantial page or design direction demonstrating the approved structure and visual direction.

These project-stage cancellation rules address change-of-mind cancellations. They do not remove rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.

12 / INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Who Owns What?

Virtualfolio retail templates

Virtualfolio retains its rights in the original Virtualfolio template, source design, layout, product presentation, original text or structure created by Virtualfolio, and other original materials unless a specific written agreement states otherwise.

A retail-template purchase gives the purchaser the license described in these Terms. It does not transfer ownership of the underlying retail template.

Client-supplied materials

The client retains whatever rights the client already owns in materials supplied to Virtualfolio, such as the client’s original logo, photographs, written copy, work samples, testimonials, and other client-owned content.

Submitting those materials gives Virtualfolio permission to use them only as reasonably necessary to perform the agreed project and related support, subject to the Privacy Policy and these Terms.

Original custom design work

After full payment, Virtualfolio grants or transfers to the client, to the extent Virtualfolio owns the relevant rights and subject to the limitations below, the rights reasonably necessary for that single client to use, edit, publish, and maintain the finished custom design created specifically for the approved project.

This does not transfer ownership of Canva, Canva Content, third-party fonts, stock media, third-party software, licensed assets, or other materials owned by another rights holder.

Those materials remain governed by their own licenses.

Virtualfolio pre-existing materials and know-how

Virtualfolio retains ownership of pre-existing processes, workflows, methods, reusable systems, general design knowledge, business practices, internal tools, and materials developed independently of the client’s specific custom project.

A custom project does not prevent Virtualfolio from using its general skills, knowledge, layout techniques, or design methods in future work, provided Virtualfolio does not improperly reuse the client’s confidential or protected materials.

Portfolio or case-study use

Virtualfolio does not automatically acquire permission to publicly display a custom client project, private client assets, or submitted project materials as a portfolio example merely because the materials were provided for the project.

Where Virtualfolio wishes to feature identifiable client work publicly as a testimonial, portfolio example, or case study, permission will be obtained where appropriate.

13 / THIRD PARTIES

Third-Party Platforms, Services & Links

Virtualfolio may rely on or link to third-party services such as Canva, Maya, hosting providers, cloud-storage services, email providers, social-media platforms, or other technology used to deliver or support the website and purchased products or services.

Those third parties operate under their own terms, licenses, privacy policies, availability, security practices, and technical systems.

Virtualfolio does not control every change, outage, suspension, price increase, feature modification, account decision, or service interruption made by an independent third party.

A third-party limitation does not excuse Virtualfolio from obligations that Virtualfolio itself is legally required to perform or from providing an applicable remedy where the purchased Virtualfolio product or service fails to conform to what was promised.

External links

A link to another website or platform is provided for convenience or functionality and does not automatically mean that Virtualfolio endorses every statement, product, privacy practice, or activity of that third party.

14 / RESULTS

No Guarantee of Clients, Sales or Business Results

Virtualfolio templates and custom portfolio services are designed to help customers present their services, work, credibility, and calls to action clearly and professionally.

Virtualfolio does not guarantee that a template, portfolio, website, design, or custom service will produce a specific number of clients, sales, job offers, inquiries, followers, leads, revenue, engagement, or other business result.

Results depend on factors outside Virtualfolio’s control, including the purchaser’s offer, experience, positioning, outreach, marketing, pricing, market conditions, audience, sales process, portfolio content, and how the finished product is used.

DESIGN SUPPORTS THE BUSINESS — IT DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE OUTCOME

15 / ACCEPTABLE USE

Responsible Use of Virtualfolio

You may use virtualfolio.shop and purchased Virtualfolio products only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, accounts, systems, files, checkout processes, or administrative areas; interfere with website security or operation; introduce malware or malicious code; fraudulently obtain products or refunds; or use the website in a way intended to damage Virtualfolio or another person.

You may not scrape, copy, reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit protected Virtualfolio content or digital products beyond the rights granted by the applicable license.

Virtualfolio may reasonably restrict access, suspend support, cancel an unfulfilled order, or take other proportionate action where there is credible evidence of fraud, illegal activity, payment abuse, unauthorized redistribution, security threats, or material violation of these Terms, subject to applicable consumer rights and legal requirements.

16 / COMPLAINTS

How Purchase Concerns Are Handled

If you have a concern about a Virtualfolio order, payment, digital product, access issue, refund, or custom service, contact support@virtualfolio.shop first so we can review the relevant transaction and work toward an appropriate resolution.

Provide the email used for purchase, order or payment reference where available, a clear explanation of the issue, and supporting screenshots or information when helpful.

Depending on the circumstances, an appropriate resolution may include technical assistance, restored access, file resend, product correction or replacement, revision within scope, refund, or another remedy required by applicable law.

We aim to address formal purchase complaints promptly.

For purposes of the Philippine Internet Transactions Act, an internal redress mechanism is considered exhausted when the complaint remains unresolved after seven (7) calendar days from filing, without limiting other rights or remedies available to the customer.

Where appropriate, a customer may pursue available remedies through DTI, the applicable payment provider, a competent court, or another government authority with jurisdiction over the issue.
